Placement and use
1. Pair the sensor with a compatible hub using the current Aqara Home instructions for the correct account region.
2. For representative readings, place it indoors away from direct sunlight, heaters, air-conditioner outlets, cooking steam, water splash and strong drafts.
3. If using the sticker, clean and dry the surface before mounting. Do not block the sensor openings.
4. Allow readings to stabilize after moving the sensor. Temperature and humidity accuracy statements apply within the specified ranges and under normal measurement conditions.
5. Test app history, alerts and automations after setup. Replace the CR2032 when low battery is reported or communication becomes unreliable.
Important limitations
- Humidity range is non-condensing. This product is not waterproof and is not a water-leak sensor.
- It does not directly control a humidifier, air conditioner or other appliance; control requires compatible actuators and correctly configured automation.
- It is not a calibrated laboratory, medical, food-safety or life-safety instrument.
- Remote alerts depend on hub power, Zigbee connection, network/app services and notification permissions.
